Little did I know that referral would mark an amazing turnaround in the quality of my life. The transformation was not easy, but it is nearly complete at this point, and I am very optimistic. CORE sent me to physical therapy in the YMCA pool with several wonderful therapists once a week, as well as weekly visits with therapists at the CORE facility. I recommend CORE Physical Therapy for however long it takes for a person to achieve a realistic turnaround. I never felt like I would be prematurely released from their attentions, which in itself gave me much encouragement. I appreciated that the exercises and treatments were changed frequently according to my needs, and that this also prevented any boredom on my end. As new complaints can and do surface, and new areas of the body need targeted care, they have always adapted and solved problems. Many times these situations were not intuitive to me, but were to these expert therapists at CORE. They understand and explain the intricacies of bodily interactions and the importance of breathing to facilitate recovery. They have an impressive array of equipment, both mechanical and high-tech. I found that the CORE therapists have profound consideration for their clients to improve their lives and function. I am extraordinarily thankful to Kara Bateson, who is truly unique in her direction of the facility and her constantly and thoughtfully optimizing her plan for me as my therapist. I now go upstairs, do not need a shove by a helper to get into a car, and am on my feet a good portion of the day. Friends, family, and even minor acquaintances have noticed and commented on the new me. After months of poor improvement following several orthopedic surgeries, I was referred to CORE Physical Therapy by my doctor. At that time, I was having difficulty walking up one step, getting into a car, performing ordinary tasks, walking without profound fatigue, and sleeping without pain in my lower limbs.
