Developmental Delay

Pediatric Occupational Therapy at Core focuses on helping children reach their full potential, by developing skills they need to participate in daily life at home, at school, and with their peers. We help build children's confidence, and independence with daily skills.

At Core our pediatric OT works with children who have challenges in or are dealing with:

• Fine motor skills (handwriting, cutting, buttoning, zipping, tying shoes)
• Completing multi- step tasks
• Self-care skills (dressing)
• Gross motor skills (visual motor, hand-eye coordination, delay in walking)
• Torticollis/Plagiocephaly
• General delay in meeting early stage milestones and/or delay in reflex integration

We collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and parents to ensure progress flows from setting to setting. Sessions are fun and tailored to children's interests and needs. We work with children at all stages of life from birth to teenage years, with the goal to develop tools for long term success.
